Wolves need to eat a full serving of food twice a month. If this is not done, then the wolf becomes weaker and looses health points.
There will be a hunting board in each territory. To start a hunt, just post a new thread listing the wolves involved. An admin will respond within three to four days. The admin in charge of your hunt will be your prey.
Hunts are not always successful. The more wolves involved in a hunt, the better the chances. Also, the higher the ranking of a wolf, the better the chances its attacks will hit. Certain animals will need a min. amount of wolves to take down. Some will only require a single wolf.
Different animals will feed a different number of wolves.
Example: A rabbit will only fully feed one adult wolf, whereas an adult moose would feed eight adult wolves. A litter of 3 or more puppies will be counted as one adult wolf. Any litter smaller won’t count as any wolf.
Once a kill is made, the members involved in the hunt will be automatically fed, so to find the number of wolves that can still eat from the kill, subtract the number of wolves fed from the overall feed ability of the animal. A list is provided in the beginning of the board.
Different territories have different animals available to hunt. A list of the available animals and the number of wolves required to make a kill is located at the beginning of the board.
A kill will only remain edible for a week after the kill. Afterward, the thread will be deleted.
If an admin does not reply within three to four days, send a pm to an admin.
Wolves can be injured by prey. The higher the ranking, the more health a wolf has in a hunt. Wolves of one year or younger should watch a fight, not partake in it. It is required that a young wolf watch two group hunts and one solo hunt before they can have any chance at catching anything.
Younger wolves also have lower health points. We strongly recommend that young wolves do not participate in hunts until they either have seen many different hunts, or they are old enough to be in the pack’s rankings.
For a wolf to eat a kill that it did not participate in, all they need to do is post themselves eating in the thread. If there is no longer enough to eat, then it will not count.
